Here is Christopher's entry for the 2007 Pinewood Derby at RAF Alconbury.
Pinewood Derby Weigh In
Christopher's car comes right in at 5 ounces....now how will it run down the track?
Pinewood Derby Semi Finals
Christopher watches on with his Den to see who the front runners will be to advance to the next round.
Christopher Advances to the Finals
The top two finishers from each Den advance to the final round for the overall Pinewood Derby Champion.
And the Winner is.....
Christopher wins a nice trophy and a lego car. He was speechless when given the opportunity to speak...he just kept looking at the trophy.
The Winner!!
Christopher amazingly wins the Pinewood Derby, beating second place by only 1.1 mph over 4 races. He competed against 38 other cars at RAF Alconbury.

Christopher's Ski Experience
We went to Austria on MLK weekend this January for an alpine ski adventure. For the most part there was snow on the slopes, but as these photos will reveal, there were plenty of bare spots as well. Christopher starts his lessons by learning how to latch into his skis.
He's Having Fun, But is He Learning Anything?
I guess our "takeaway" from this day was that Christopher discovered that he does like skiing, and I discovered that I may not be the best teacher in the world.
