Next stop, Pompeii

After exploring Mt Vesuvius, it was only natural to go to Pompeii. To see the city that was buried in ash after Mt Vesuvius blew up. Posted by Picasa

I will have to look this up on Google and read the history about it. How did they dig the town back to life? Where does ash go? Does it disolve?
